Thursday, February 28th, David VanAlfen will be speaking on the "Puebloans, Puebloids, and Paiutes: Prehistory of the Anasazi Frontier".
On Thursday, April 18th, Steve Simms will talk on "Fremont Rockart".
Both lectures are in the Springdale Community Center. The programs start at 7:30 PM.

David Van Alfen, archaeologist for the Grand Canyon - Parashant NM will reveal the most recent archaeological findings on the Arizona Strip and current interpretations of their cultural significance.

The American Rock Art Research Association has announced that they will be holding their 2012 Annual Meeting in St. George on May 25-28, 2012 at the Lexington Suites hotel.
There wil be field trips on Friday and Monday, with technical sessions on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a dinner on Saturday evening.
